Your Hosts |
This event is hosted by the Five Forks Church with proceeds benefiting the New Hope Shelter, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.
FFC is a multi-generational church with a strong emphasis on community and family within our walls. We then go outside our walls and are actively involved in the communities of southern Franklin County (through our Food Pantry, Clothes Closet and other outreach ministries).
The Waynesboro New Hope Shelter was founded in 1998 by Violet and Gerry Schmid, to provide temporary housing for the homeless from Franklin, Fulton, and Adams counties in PA. New Hope Shelter is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that offers food and lodging to men, women, and children. It operates year-round and serves about 150 people a year of which one-third are children. Every resident is provided encouragement and the tools necessary to find employment and permanent housing.
